A Configurable Virtual Reality Store

AbstractIn this poster, we present a configurable virtual reality store. The virtual store may be displayed using immersive VR systems, such as a CAVE or an HMD, to enable merchandising research, or on the web to enable creation of 3D e-commerce applications. In the proposed solution, the visualized shopping space is created dynamically as a combination of three elements: virtual exhibition model, product models and virtual exhibition data, enabling easy configuration of exhibitions by domain experts and researchers.
