Estymatory kalibracyjne stosowane w Narodowym Spisie Powszechnym w 2011 r
AbstractNational Census of Population and Housing 2011 (NSP 2011) for the first time in the history of Polish public statistics was conducted by mixed method. This meant the use of data from administrative sources and sample survey, covering 20% of apartments in Poland. During generalizing the results of a sample survey, the data required corresponding correct weights for all persons involved therein. The purpose of this article is to present the theoretical basis of calibration and its practical application to the needs of the census. It discusses the idea of calibration, as well as stages of its use in adapting the structures of gender, age and place of residence from the representative survey data to the data of the full Census (2002), which was treated as a reference population.
