DBpedia in the Art Market
Dominik Filipiak , Agata Filipowska
AbstractWe investigate a new approach to the art market analysis. A vast amount of structured data about creators on DBpedia can be used for enriching artworks' sales observations employed in hedonic regression. This approach can result in a new set of explanatory variables and thus yield more accurate art market indices and predictions.
